Jessica Addeo is a pediatric occupational therapist with experience in a multitude of settings. She graduated from Boston University for both her Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Studies (2005) and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (2007). Jessica has worked in NJ public schools, early intervention, specialized private schools, and sensory clinics. She enjoys working in early intervention and sensory clinics for the opportunity to delve into a child and family’s specific needs with intense focus. One of her favorite aspects of treatment is including family members and caregivers in the therapeutic process. Jessica is also a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, has taken several children’s yoga courses, and has had the opportunity to teach children’s yoga and prenatal yoga. She finds that yoga can help children and adults tap into their highest potential through self-awareness, breath development, sensorimotor development, and have  lasting benefits on and off the mat.

Jessica is committed to advocating for the profession of occupational therapy across environments. She has traveled to Belarus to provided therapy services for children affected by the Chernobyl disaster and education for Belarusian therapy students.  You can find her written work in local NJ magazines and OT Advance. A true student, Jessica has taken a plethora of continuing education courses with her favorites focusing on sensory processing, neurodevelopmental treatment techniques and Therapeutic Listening. Jessica hopes to obtain her Clinical Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in the near future and continue to advance the wonderful profession of OT.
